Re: GRAVELOBBERS
that right there is a lot of dead things, along with whatever undead monsters we have in the game (character or npc)
i just think its a pretty sweet name, captures the essence of the game, its in a graveyard and you throw shit, works for me

Re: GRAVELOBBERS
I still like "Graveyard Smash" simply because it's the second line from the greatest Halloween-related song ever (except for Thriller).

Yes, Graveyard Smash still gets my vote.
And here's a hot tip: there's a good chance throwing skulls will factor heavily into gameplay. Skulls belong to dead things.

YOU LIE
Re: GRAVELOBBERS
well i thought graveyard was just the potential level for presentation.. jeremy said we should do a separate death match level if we have extra time or such and max said the character range could be anything so long as it was informal and satire-ish.. which makes my brain hurt so much that ppl keep referring to the dead yet the words of range of anything that suits the normal purpose of the game's attitude combined causes wreaking havoc in my head as to what the hell and which way to go.

Re: GRAVELOBBERS
yeah the deathmatch level would be the same style and use the same assets as the co-op mode, it would just be in a smaller arena. and as far as i have been told we're going to focus on the deathmatch level first (environment wise). the co-op and the deathmatch would look exactly the same (they would share the same assets as well), with a cartoony twist to them.
thats what i've been told, correct me if im wrong

Re: GRAVELOBBERS
im just lost on the cartoony twist and the theme of what's being focused.. its like graveyard on one hand.. so i've got undead and everythign to do with undead on mind, and then there's the twist of anything which the twist seems to just be twist their bones here and there and make all this dead stuff look cartoony?
Edit: Typical... I think too much... sounds like everyone else who've said that to me already

Re: GRAVELOBBERS
Kevin, I'm saying this once, and I bet I'll say it at least a dozen more times before GPW is up: You think too much. Literal interpretation of things only convolutes the situation, whereas personal interpretation tends to bridge alot of gaps that wold otherwise cause said convolution. Mind you, literal may in fact be personal, but it does make it difficult when you take things at face value.
Regardless, I kinda like both. Gravelobbers is good because it incorporates one of the key actions of the game: throwing shit. But Graveyard Smash has a very oldschool action game feel about it, so I'm torn between the two. My only concern with Graveyard Smash is that some smartass will be like "Graveyard Smash Bros." and we'll all have to gang beat the sunovabitch.

I kinda like Gravelobbers because of its witty value. It sort of sounds like Grave robbers too... except... throwing shit.
Just my two cents.

Re: GRAVELOBBERS
Ill also throw my vote in for 'Gravelobbers' because as Richard said its witty. I will however throw in another vote for 'Graveyard Smash' as long as someone adds in the 'Bros.' so we CAN gang beat them...it would be fun...
