Game idea

Okay i was just reading "the design forum" page and when Adam M said "I had a really cool idea but it's too similar to Fight Club so I can't talk about it." it made all sorts of wonderful things happen in my head. namely i remembered the idea that the group i was in came up with waaay the fuck back in illustration. i think then it was called Potty Fighters or something. i have not figured it all out BUT the basic idea is:
(this would be a cut scene or some dialog thing along with set animations) You and four friends are sitting at a table in a bar then bam something happens (some dude spills a drink on you) you and your buddys get up 'cause you're covered in beer, and pissed the fuck off. His buddies get up to help this asshole who just spilled beer on you. then its a BAR FIGHT! and you throw shit that you pick up at other patrons. this goes on until you and your friends are last ones standing. THEN its BOSS FIGHT! you have to fight off the bouncer. if you win you get extra bonus points, if you lose you just get tossed out and get regular amount of points. i was thinking it would be you and your buddies against another group of guys.

same kind of camera style and everything as the graveyard idea.

a lot more environment things that can be done(eg: multiple levels?)

a LOT more character things that can be done. it would still be a small map.

your primary target would be the other "team" but there would be smaller "teams" of npc's that would be trying to survive the night as well and you'd have to get rid of them to get to the main team. all the teams would be on the map at the same time, just spread out.

you'd want to get to places like the bar to grab bottles and throw them around.

it would be cool if you could progress through the game (each level would be really short) and go from the seedy dark alley bars to the high upper class bars and fight some up tight pricks.

anyways thats the basic idea. you could include some puzzle solving eg: have the moose head on the wall fall down after the player does something special. or something like that. could also have a basement level or cellar as well as a small upper floor maybe.

just some thoughts i think it would be interesting and it uses the throwing idea which seems to me to be pretty popular.

Reminds me a lot of double dragon battle toads, 3D styles.

Oh I meant that as the single game LOL the one where you can play as both =)
